flow and vinyasa

Vinyasa 101
All Levels
A welcoming place to begin for those new to practice or wanting a fresher intro to Prema style. Poses, breath awareness, and yogic fundamentals are introduced and broken down with an emphasis on alignment, steady breath, ease, and joy.

Vinyasa & Restore
All Levels
75% Vinyasa. Then move into soothing the nervous system with the invitation to do less, relax, and yes, restore.

Ashtanga Vinyasa
Intermediate
Join Maria Cutrona for a modified Led practice - half the Ashtanga Primary series. Ashtanga is the grandfather of modern Vinyasa yoga. The series is a set sequence of postures that build on each other to promote stamina, mindful use of the breath and bandhas and steadiness. This is an Intermediate practice. The Led practice, unlike Mysore, will meet you where you are at but not suitable for beginners. Expect hands on assists, no music.

BIPOC Community Class
All Levels
This hour long sacred space is for individuals who identify as part of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Color) community. We move through a fluid and accessible physcial practice inspired by Vinyasa Yoga and intuitive movement. There will also be generous time for meditation and breathing practice. This weekly space is a reminder that we are held by and in community. Come as you are.

Yin
All Levels
Yin targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, and joints. Yin gives you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body.

Restore
All Levels
10-15 minutes of mindful movement leads to blissful restorative. Turn down the volume on the nervous system with soothing long held postures - low to the ground and supported by props, instruction and music. This practice is appropriate for All Levels. This is not a Vinyasa class.

Cosmic Yin + Restore
All Levels
Align with vibrant energy of nature through the journey of long held restorative yoga poses, soundbath, and touch of reiki.

Breath Work
All Levels
Breath is life. Breath connects us to the divine by grounding us in the everyday. In this 90-minute workshop, we will explore the power and tenderness of breath through states of steadiness, agitation, and ease. We will open with gentle restorative movement to connect to our breath and then move through a holotropic breathwork journey with a curated soundscape. Afterwards, there will be plenty of time for deep rest.
Bring a journal and wear comfortable clothing with layers as your body temperature is likely to shift during the practice. -
Prema Kirtan
All Levels
A meditative practice of call and response chanting of sacred words. Led by rotating artists and teachers and musicians. No experience necessary. Feel free to come and learn what this integral part of the yoga practice is.

Pilates
All Levels
A series of exercises combining breathing techniques, concentration, muscle control, rhythm, flow, strength and mobility. This is a mat class.
Strong focus on alignment, purposeful and precise movements to decrease stress on joints and encourage healthier movement patterns. Class closes with relaxation to release unnecessary tension and to remind the body of the importance between effort and relaxation.

Strengthen & Condition
All Levels
Yoga uses a lot of the same muscle groups to make us strong, supple, and lean. In this class, we’ll work on building strength, endurance, and stability in a way that complements your yoga practice. Using bodyweight exercises, resistance training, functional movement patterns, and a touch of heart-pumping cardio, Strengthen & Condition will help you develop power, balance, and resilience.
Expect a dynamic, full-body workout designed to enhance mobility, prevent injury, and support overall well-being—whether on or off the mat.

Prema Yoga/Pilates
All Levels
A thoughtfully balanced class that weaves together the soulful essence of Prema Yoga with the precision and intelligence of Pilates. Expect a mindful, breath-led flow that integrates strength, mobility, rhythm, and concentration through purposeful and precise movement. Classes may be vigorous and sweaty at times, while always emphasizing alignment and healthy movement patterns to decrease stress on the joints and support long-term wellbeing.

MDRNYGA

MDRNYGA is mat-less movement class set to music, that integrates vinyasa, Pilates, Release Technique and creative sequencing. These cousined modalities are packaged into an hour of flow and grace, connectivity and strength to invigorate and inspire a modern approach to movement and working out the body.

SHIFT
All Levels
SHIFT explores layers of sensation through the body in motion. The practice is designed to tune into the quality of movements and discover fresh movement pathways. Shift uses components of Qi Gong and guided improvisation to bring the mind and body together in a musically, inspired and playful manner

Ballet Beats
All Levels
Ballet Beats® is a proprietary syllabus and program which combines both Ballet and Fitness into a multi-level, inclusive fitness experience. There are many styles within the program. Each style is music-driven, accessible and fun! No dance experience required!

Prema Dance

There are many ways in. One is through play and leaving your expectation of what a yoga experience can be at the door.
Class will include a warm up, choreography across the floor and a learned combination. NO dance experience necessary, just your willingness to jump in and have fun!

Prema Prenatal
All Levels
We believe a good prenatal class imparts non-judgmental emotional, physical and informational support for the trasformation through pregnancy and beyond. This means inviting mothers-to-be to connect in a loving space where they can nourish mind, body and spirit in preparation for labor and birth. Expect a guided meditation, pranayama-for-two, succulent vinyasa flow, wall work, yin restorative poses, and a blissful mother-baby savasana.

Baby + Me
All Levels
Baby & Me Postnatal Yoga imparts non-judgmental emotional, physical and informational support for the transformation through postpartum and beyond. This means inviting new caregivers and babies to connect in a loving space where they can nourish mind, body and spirit. Expect yoga postures, yin restorative poses and pelvic floor conditioning linked to the breath and designed to encourage a renewed sense of strength and ease in the postpartum body.
All are welcome with baby or to come alone for postnatal yoga. Anything goes - one is welcome to feed or change babies during class and rejoin as they can. Babies up to crawling.

Kenter Davies is a vocal arranger, music educator, and choral facilitator based in Brooklyn, New York. He dedicates his work to creating spaces for individuals to informally engage with music free from perfection, valuing the journey over the destination. He firmly believes in making music for music-making’s sake.

All Levels
We might practice, sometimes for years, alongside people we feel connected to but we may know very little about. Prema Talks aspires to create a circle of connection by creating conversation. Knowledge creates wisdom. And wisdom feeds into the heart where true understanding lives.
Join us as we step into dialogue with a member of our community and chat life, career, yoga, food, beauty, sexuality, all the things. We’ll run the gamut between levity and vulnerability, silliness and introspection. Informal and fun.
private sessions
Based upon individual needs, private sessions range from detailed asana guidance and deep adjustments, injury recovery, pre and post-natal yoga, to in-depth meditation instruction, pilates, meditation, breathwork and more.
We offer private, semi-private and group rates.
For newer students, private lessons provide the opportunity to ask questions and receive personal, detailed posture instruction. Experienced practitioners will advance their practice.
