Pay & Perks:

• $20–$24/hour, commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years retail experience, ideally in a curated boutique or beauty-focused environment

• Comfortable with Shopify backend management

• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail

• Knowledge of beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands

• Flexible availability for 8–12 hours per week with some shift coverage as needed

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in-store with purchases and inquiries

• Maintain boutique presentation and inventory

• Support Shopify operations and online orders

• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth boutique operations

We’re seeking thoughtful, reliable retail support as we open our new Upstate shop. This role is customer-facing and hands-on, supporting daily store operations while helping create a welcoming, community-centered environment.

Schedule
The shop will be open Thursday–Sunday to start.
This role requires weekend availability and will include 2–3 shifts per week, 11:30am–5:30pm (with store open 12pm-5pm), with potential for additional hours as the shop grows.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with warmth and genuine engagement

• Support sales floor flow, merchandising, and visual upkeep

• Operate POS and manage transactions through Shopify

• Maintain organization of inventory, stock, and back-of-house areas

• Assist with receiving, tagging, and restocking product

• Help uphold the aesthetic and energetic feel of the space

• Support occasional in-store events or activations as needed

• Opening/Closing

Qualifications

• Retail customer service experience required - at least 2 years.

• Shopify experience required

• Weekend availability required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with an eye for presentation

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Collaborative and comfortable working within a small team

• Interest in wellness, beauty, or thoughtfully curated goods a plus
